We went for a Sunday drive around town today. Very blustery wind had the air not as clear as I'd like, but I was out and the camera was in hand. The first shot is one of my favorite views in Port Orford....Garrison Lake seen from the 101. I love the variation of grasses and the curves and snake-like streams winding to the lake. Second is another view of Lake Garrison. Hard to believe
that just over that wee, little hill in the background is the mighty Pacific!! And the third is the Pacific with one of our well-known rocks (of which I don't know the name!), but it's the rock that the fishermen use at times from the port to the sea. They call it The Gate. I liked the shot of it through the trees.
