Was driving by Battlerock yesterday and I saw that there
were a number of surfers out there. I had to stop and try
and get a capture of this. Maybe next time I can get closer
but this was a pretty good shot of the waves curling
and the "bridal veil" spray behind it. Some person on Flickr asked me
if this was me. I laughed and laughed at that!! Nope!!
Not on your life! I loved the sense of freedom that skydiving brought
with it and when I looked at the surfer through those eyes, I could
see where he must enjoy the sense of freedom and excitement of
joining with a strong natural force and, if not conquering it, at least
acknowledging the awe-inspiring strength behind it.
